Laser printing on denim is a textile technique that involves engraving and lightening the fabric surface using an extremely precise laser beam. This technology allows for the creation of detailed patterns, textures, or illustrations directly on the denim fabric without the use of ink or chemicals.

In the denim industry, lasers are gradually replacing some traditional techniques such as sandblasting or manual brushing. They notably allow for:

• very high precision in patterns, designs, and illustrations,
• perfect reproducibility between pieces,
• a significant reduction in water and chemical usage during denim treatment.

At Atelier Chazeau, this technology becomes an artistic tool: designs are conceived as graphic works that transform denim into a surface for expression.

Atelier Chazeau primarily develops jeans, denim trousers, jackets, and accessories, designed as mediums for artistic expression. The brand's expertise lies in the fusion of fashion, art, and denim craftsmanship: each piece is conceived as a graphic interpretation of clothing, where prints, drawings, and fabric treatments enrich silhouettes inspired by workwear. Each collection thus explores a specific visual and narrative universe, transforming denim into a true canvas for artistic expression.

Chazeau clothing, accessories, and objects are developed through artistic design work and then produced in collaboration with specialized workshops for each material and structure. Our main denim partner is in Tunisia, and we plan to work with Portugal for woven fabrics. The country of origin is displayed on each product page and composition label.

Denim is a robust material that improves with time, provided it is cared for properly. It is recommended to wash your jeans as infrequently as possible, in order to preserve the indigo color and the structure of the fabric. With wear, denim gradually softens and adapts to the wearer's body shape without deforming, which helps create a unique patina for each garment. This evolution makes denim a living material, which gradually tells the story of the person who wears it.

When washing becomes necessary, opt for low-temperature washing (30°C maximum) and turn the garment inside out before putting it in the machine to protect the fabric's surface, as well as any prints or embroidery. Use a mild detergent, avoid the dryer, and allow the denim to air dry. These simple steps help to preserve the quality of the fabric and the appearance of the garment over time.
