The "Autrui" fresco
Immerse yourself in the artistic world of Arthur Chazeau with the fresco "Autrui" (Others), a work that captures those suspended moments we share with strangers, without ever truly meeting them. This inspiration has been translated into a clothing collection.
A Silent Proximity
In this dense composition, faces occupy the entire space. They brush against each other, overlap, and coexist in an almost suffocating proximity. Yet, no gazes truly meet.
Each character seems to be inhabited by their own story. Fragments appear (an expression, a detail, an attitude) but nothing is enough to fully reveal an existence. Like in our daily commutes, everyone moves forward in their own inner world.
Autrui questions this strange condition: being surrounded, without truly meeting.
An Inspiration for the Clothing Collection
From this fresco, a clothing collection was born, designed by Thierry Vainqueur as a textile extension of the work. Each piece (jeans, trousers, jacket, or ensemble) translates this tension between the collective and the intimate, between physical presence and invisible distance.
Silhouettes multiply, faces come to life through the material. Embroidery, introduced on brick and beige shades, adds relief and reinforces the presence of these anonymous figures, as if they were coming to life on the fabric.
Available in indigo, brick, and beige, the "Autrui" collection is part of an artistic clothing approach, at the crossroads of fashion and plastic expression.
An invitation to look differently at those we meet every day. To slow down, observe, and recognize, behind each face, a unique story.
